Ed E Ruger - Reloaded 17 Jan '08 - 2:12am

When I First Popped In The Disc Titled "Reloaded", I Figured oh, "Just another artist trying to make a hard approach to the game." After a few tracks into the album, i wouldhave to take back those thoughts, and apoligize to the artist, named "Ed E Ruger" for even thinking in that direction.

The 15 track disc is sure to give you a collection of concepts, freestyle verses that you could hear any of the best djs screaming over, and heart felt storys such as "Old Man" to satisfy your listening pleasures. At CultureVI.com, we took the time to break down each track individually, give you are honest criticism, and point out the strong and weak parts of the album.

Track Breakdown

01. Intro - A live approach to a album/mixtape. Good lyrics for a mixtape/intro, shouting out djs and others. Delivery not 100% on beat, (5/10)

02. Reloaded - Not the best beat for a title track, nor track 2 song. "I dont believe shit you gotta show me, im about to squeeze the game for everything i feel it owe me". Good scratches. Overall track was decent. (6/10)

03. Fuck That - Good beat for bounce off of title track. Good delivery. "Im probally the hottest out and dont get played at all". Chorus wasent as good as could have been. "Ive been hustlin so long i got my name on an e-pill". (7/10)

04. Cashville 2 Carolina (Feat. Jellyroll & MIC) - Southern style beat throws off flow of album. Featured artist wasent that strong. chorus was decent. Ruger clearly outshined features. Not a very good song for a track 4 position. (5/10)

05. Off The Chain (Feat. Stitchy C & Ty Bru) - Good delivery and good beat selection for title. Again, featured artist got outshined. Not a stand-out track, but one for depth on a album. (6/10)

06. Get Fucked Up (Feat. krumbsnatcha & W.O.L.V.E.S) - Probally one of the weakest songs on the album. Beat sounds very amateur. Artists delivery was decent. Chorus didnt match beat at all. (5/10)

07. Going Out With A Bang (Feat. Illpo) - Good beat to switch tempo of album. Chorus wasn't as solid as could've been. Artist delivered properly to concept. (7/10)

08. Old Man (Remix) - Decent track. Expected a more mellow beat for concept. Good lyrics. Solid production. Second verse was the most solid verse. (7/10)

09. Wicked - Good delivery. "Gun between his eyes, turn his nose into a gun rack". good freestyle verse. Old school beat flipped well. (7/10)

10. Weed Song (Remix) (Feat. Choke & Ethemadassassin) - Good interlude in begining for song. Probally strongest song of album. Perfect beat for song topic. All artist delivered properly (8/10)

11. Times Get Hard (Snippit) (Feat. Bun B of UGK) - Good delivery. "My flow is sick, like a dope fiend that go for 3 days wit no fix". Production was decent. Beat was very repepitive. Good chorus. (7/10)

12. Smoked Out - One of the weaker beats on the album. Repetitive. Delivery wasn't on point as other tracks as well. Chorus sounded forced and didnt fit. (5/10)

13. Game Aint Shit (Feat. Tre Stylez) - Good beat for more towards end of album. Delivery was very good. Chorus well delivered. Beat was mediorce. (7/10)

14. We Run Dat (Remix) (Feat. Celinske & J Bond of Illpo) - Good double time flow. Shows vercitility. Beat very good for second to last track. Delivery very impressive. Chorus done very well too. (8/10)

15. Dealin With A Boss (Feat. BaberQ, Brandon D & L.I.V.E) - Not a good song for closing track. Features were outshined once again. Commercial sounding beat was very repetitve. (6/10)
